Scope of tax program is at issue in legislature

A legislative battle is brewing over proposed changes to the $6 million biotech tax credit law adopted last year.
Legislators next week will consider many changes in the program designed to entice more venture capital firms to take advantage of it.

The four-person lobbying shop of Capitol Strategies LLC has established itself as a player since its founding about 10 years ago. No stranger to the Maryland political scene, Sushant Sidh boasts a strong policy background in the Glendening administration and has campaign experience to boot.
